Everything we have covered so far happens inside the Claude Desktop app. Files. Documents. Data analysis.
But sales does not happen in a vacuum. It happens on the web. LinkedIn. Your CRM. G2. Company websites. Job boards. Industry blogs.
Claude in Chrome is a browser extension that lets Claude see, read, and interact with web pages. Pair it with Co-Work and you have got an AI assistant that can research online AND produce finished deliverables on your desktop.
This is the combo that changes everything.
It is not just a summarizer that reads the page you are on. It is a full browser automation agent.
Claude in Chrome can read and extract information from any webpage, click buttons, fill out forms, and navigate between pages, manage multiple tabs simultaneously, record workflows so Claude can repeat them, run scheduled tasks automatically (daily, weekly, monthly), and work alongside Co-Work to complete end-to-end workflows.
Think of it as giving Claude eyes and hands on the web.
Step 1: Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for Claude, or visit claude.com/chrome.
Step 2: Click Add to Chrome and install the extension.
Step 3: Sign in with your Claude account (you need a paid plan).
Step 4: The extension appears as a side panel in Chrome. Click the Claude icon to open it.
Step 5: Drag any tabs you want Claude to see into its tab group. Claude can only interact with tabs in its group.
That is it. You are ready to go.
When you open Claude in Chrome, it shows up as a side panel on the right side of your browser. You type tasks or questions just like you would in the desktop app.
